A New Way Of Charging
What’s worse than a cracked phone screen? Your phone’s battery dying on you when you need it the must! With a cracked screen at least you can still use and operates the phone (for the most part), but when your phone dies, you enter a black whole. For us millennials, our phone dying is basically sending us back to the stone ages. So how does one fix this tragic event? Having an external battery of course!
If you have been following me for the past few years you can easily say I have been one to push the use of external batteries. For how much I use my phone, you wouldn’t believe me if I told you of all the places where I have a power pack at (let’s just say I could go a week without plugging my phone into the wall). But the one thing that’s annoying is you have you carry the battery with you, and for the most part, if you want a battery with a large mAh, it’s going to be way to big and an uncomfortable thing to put in your pocket. So let’s think… What’s the one thing that’s with us just as much as our phone? Our backpack of course!
Whether you’re in school or graduated working the life of an adult, you have important material you need to carry with you. I for one have my backpack with me all the time. So where am I going with this? Ghostek has introduced one of their hottest products in their lineup, a backpack with a removable/chargeable 7000 mAh battery.
So let’s all take a pause and catch our breath from hyperventilating from excitement. The NRGbag is equipped with a 7000 mAh rechargeable removable battery which is adaptable for either Micro-USB or Apple products with a USB 2.0 Port. Since the battery is a decent size, it makes it ideal for an assortment of devices such as smart phones, tablets or eReaders.
How Does It Work?
So how does this bag work? The removable battery comes equipped with an AC adapter charging port which is conveniently waterproof. It’s just a simple plug and charge. On the outside of theNRGbag backpack, there is a one-touch power and battery level indicator that will display the battery power level and will shut off in 10 seconds if the device is not plugged into.
How Did It Function?
I’ve used the NRGbag for about a month and I have to say I really enjoy it and used it numerous amount of times. I mostly only used this to charge my iPhone 6s battery which is 1,810mAh meaning it would charge my phone 3.8 times before the NRGbag battery was dead.
While I did really like this bag, there were a few suggestions that I would make. The color selection as of now is only a black backpack with a red inside, while I do like this color combination, I did have a lot of people say they wish they came in some different colors. My second suggestion would be to make the bag bigger. I feel as if this backpack is way too small. I am 6’3 with broad shoulders, so I would like to see the bag come in a larger option to feel more comfortable.
Overall, this product easily deserves a 5 star rating. I have never had a single flaw with the battery nor the bar, and the material is grade A! If you like the bag and want to check it out for yourself, you can find them over at Ghostek’s website. I would however warn you that these bags sell fast! So once a new shipment comes in, I would pounce on the deal as they do get back ordered a lot from high demand!
